Information about classes:
All abilities welcome. We believe anyone can draw, if allowed to experiment and grow in confidence.
Come and draw a model in a themed set-up. There will be a different theme each week, encompassing compositions inspired by great paintings, sets from stories with storytelling, straight life drawing, life drawing with video projection and models who are actors, dancers, musicians and more!
The classes will be adapted for all abilities, with simple exercises at the beginning of each class, followed by a long pose. Tuition will vary depending on the individual and the amount of input each person would like. You will be encouraged to find your own unique creative expression.
Advice on a variety of mediums will be given, as well as information about current exhibitions which may be of interest.
Charcoal provided, but you may use any medium you wish, including but not limited to: pen and ink, pencil, watercolour, gouache, acrylic, mixed media, pastel, needle and thread, mono-printing materials and the materials for collage.
